Doggerel democracy: Vote for your favorite Econ Haiku -- write-ins welcome

Posted by Jon Talton

The folks at Goldman Sachs shouldn't have all the fun. In lieu of huge bonuses, you get a chance to vote in this week's Econ Haiku contest. Of course you can do better: Write your own in the comments section.

The contenders:

Monday:

A Web-based Office
To compete or copy cat?
Did I say it's free?

Tuesday:

Watchers of The Street
Find there's gold in Goldman's sacks
Any left for us?

Wednesday:

Hole-y airliner.
Remember Southwest was fined
For maintenance gaps

Thursday:

I hate that Starbucks!
Give me my neighborhood shop.
Ooops, it's Starbucks, too.

Friday:

Big banks left standing
Brought in big dough, all the while
Needing taxpayers
