Summit at Snoqualmie:

Vertfest happening this Saturday at Alpental, a celebration of backcountry culture. Proceeds will benefit Friends of the Northwest Weather and Avalanche Center. See Details.

Summit West and Summit East are closed for the season.

Crystal Mountain:

Sturtevant's Spring Fling Demo on Saturday. Be the first to ski on next year's gear...this year. The demo runs from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. and the cost is a $10 donation to PNSEF (Pacific Northwest Ski Education Foundation). Registration opens at 8 a.m. at the base area.

Also happening Saturday is the the 45th Annual Crown Standard's Citizen Downhill, an event for amateur racing enthusiast as well as first timers in an amateur race course on Quicksilver. Open to the public. Pre-register for $25, day-of registration $30. Cash prizes!


Mission Ridge:

Steve Burchett Classic ski and golf event happens this Saturday.

Mount Spokane:

It's Retro Day on Saturday. The best retro outfit wins a prize.

Summit West will remain open for the rest of next week, conditions permitting. The Summit Nordic Center will also get started this weekend with a limited operation from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Stevens Pass Rail Jam: Come watch snowboarders battle it out on the rails in the base area on Saturday. Registration is from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. The event starts at 2:30 p.m.

Crystal Mountain: The Discovery, Chinook Express, Forest Queen, Rainier Express and Green Valley chairlifts are open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. See more information about reduced lift ticket prices at Crystal.

Sturtevant's Demo Day at Crystal Mountain: Registration for the demo is closed. A limited number of walk-in registrations will be welcomed at the mountain on a first come first served basis after the majority of registered participants have checked in at the base lodge.

Stevens Pass is open for daily operations with Skyline, Hogsback, Brooks and Daisy chairs open. Big Chief and Tye Mill chairlifts will open on Saturday. The Nordic Center is scheduled to open Saturday, Dec. 15.

Mount Baker has resumed 7-day a week operation with all lifts running out of both base areas for the weekend.

Crystal Mountain will resume operations this weekend and plan to remain open daily, weather and conditions permitting. The Chinook Express, Forest Queen, Rainier Express and Green Valley chairlifts will be open this weekend from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Lift tickets will be reduced this weekend due to limited operations: $50 for adults and $45 for youth.

The Summit at Snoqualmie and Alpental are projected to open Saturday, Dec. 15 or sooner -- according to a spokesperson from the Summit at Snoqualmie.

Mission Ridge is open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. until holiday operations begin Dec. 13 through Jan. 7.

49 Degrees North will reopen on Friday for the weekend and are operating on regular schedule Friday through Tuesday.

White Pass will be closed this weekend and are looking to reopen next week, conditions permitting.

Bluewood will open on Sunday. Lifts will run 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Daily operating schedules will be in effect Wednesdays through Sundays.

The Summit at Snoqualmie is projected to open Dec. 8.

Mount Spokane had a base depth of 28 inches on Monday. Projected opening date for Mount Spokane has not been announced.

Crystal Mountain will open this weekend only with limited operations. Discovery, Chinook Express & Forest Queen will run Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Due to a warm up next week Crystal will be closed on Monday until further notice.

The Summit at Snoqualmie is projected to open Dec. 8.

Alpental is projected to open Dec. 15.

Stevens Pass has no projected opening date but had a base depth of 16 inches on Tuesday, Nov. 27.

White Pass has no projected opening. The resort had a base depth of 11 inches on Tuesday, Nov. 27.

49 Degrees North had a base depth of 6 inches on Tuesday, Nov. 27. The resort will expand operating hours 7 days a week mid-December through Mid-February.

Whistler & Blackcomb mountains is open daily for the winter season.
