Welcome to The Times of Snohomish County
This is a great place to live and a great place to read newspapers, especially your locally owned and operated daily, The Seattle Times...
This is a great place to live and a great place to read newspapers, especially your locally owned and operated daily, The Seattle Times, our Web site and our weekly community newsmagazine, The Times of Snohomish County.
For 111 years, The Seattle Times has been the hometown newspaper for residents of Snohomish and King counties. Independent newspapers with such long-lasting reader relationships are rare today. The Seattle Times is an exception.
Six generations of my family have lived in this community and worked to provide you with the most in-depth coverage of Snohomish County, Seattle and the entire Northwest.
This is our home. We believe it is a special place to live and work. And for my family, it is a privilege to serve you with one of America's last locally owned and operated newspapers. We view ourselves as stewards of a public trust.
We hope you enjoy The Times of Snohomish County each week, as well as your daily Seattle Times and seattletimes.com, the area's leading news and information Web site, which is updated continually every day.
Just as Snohomish County continues to grow and change, we will grow and change as well. But one thing will stay the same: our commitment to provide you with the most in-depth, independent news, information and community coverage of Snohomish County and the Northwest.
Sincerely,
Frank Blethen
