Bailey/Coy Books Wake & Auction on Dec. 3: $40 to play
Posted by Melissa Allison
For $40, you can mourn the loss of one of Seattle's best-known book sellers and bid for memorabilia that Bailey/Coy collected during more than a quarter century on Capitol Hill.
Among the items to be auctioned: a pair of white boxer shorts signed by David Sedaris, original cartoons from Bailey/Coy's guest book by Matt Groening and Lynda Barry, and a poster signed by Annie Leibovitz.
The evening starts at 6 p.m. and includes food, champagne and entertainment by Fuschia Foxxx and Dina Martina. Tickets are being sold in advance.
