Marquand Manuel among four coaching additions
He becomes the assistant special teams coach, taking the spot that was filled by Jeff Ulbrich the past two years. Ulbrich went to UCLA, joining Jim Mora's coaching staff.
Manuel played two seasons for the Seahawks, starting most of the 2005 season as he took Ken Hamlin's spot after Hamlin suffered a head injury outside a Seattle nightclub. Manuel started the Super Bowl for Seattle, but was unable to play the second half because of injury.
The Seahawks announced four new additions to their coaching staff.
Keith Carter was hired to serve as the quality control coach for the offense. He is a former UCLA Bruin who coached the past three years at University of San Diego.
The Seahawks also hired John Glenn as a special teams assistant. Glenn worked at Washington on Steve Sarkisian's staff the past two seasons. Kenechi Udeze -- a former first-round pick out of USC -- will be the coaching intern, working with the defensive line.
