Law & Order: Seahawks edition

Posted by Danny O'Neil

All that's missing is that patented "Law & Order" sound effect, which announces a new segment in the procedural.

But three members of the Seahawks currently have criminal cases, two in California.

Safety Kevin Ellison, whom the Seahawks claimed from San Diego, released and then re-signed, entered a plea of not guilty in Southern California on Wednesday had his case continued. He is facing a drug-possession charge after police allege they found him in possession of 100 Vicodin pills without a prescription. He has another court appearance scheduled next week.

Update at 5:28 p.m.: Ellison's case was in fact continued, and there was no formal arraignment. The clerk from Los Angeles Superior Court who provided the information indicated he had, but in fact the case was continued. By the way, Ellison's attorney is the same who represented Lindsay Lohan this week.

• Quinton Ganther was cited on July 3 for DUI in Sacramento. His next court appearance is scheduled July 28.
