Brandon Marshall's history includes multiple arrests, police responding to calls of domestic disturbances and suspensions levied against him by both his team and the league. But the meaning of his history is deeper than just a recitation of his record, points out Dave Krieger of the Denver Post. Charlie Whitehurst is weighing contract offers from the Seattle Seahawks and the Arizona Cardinals, according to NFL.com. Now, Seattle can't sign Whitehurst to an offer sheet because it doesn't have the third-round pick it would need to sign San Diego's restricted free agent, but the report says Seattle is ready to offer compensation. Left unsaid in the report is how Derek Anderson fits into the equation. Anderson also visited the Seahawks and Cardinals, and is a consideration.
