Report rebutting report of Patrick Kerney's retirement

That is verified. He remains on Seattle's roster and has not filed any paperwork.
He did not throw a "retirement party," either, according to a Tweet from KING 5 Sports.
"Patrick Kerney did NOT throw a retirement party. He did not retire."

Kerney has not returned phone calls today, but the report from a station that employs Kerney's fiancée disputes the notion any decision has been made on retirement.
