Seahawks' Wednesday press conference

Seattle coach Jim Mora's Wednesday press conference will begin in just a few minutes. As always, you can check the updates via my Twitter feed. I'll be posting an update afterward.

  • WR Nate Burleson is out, LB Aaron Curry (hip) is doubtful. Neither will practice.

  • CB Josh Wilson (hip) and RB Julius Jones (ankle/ribs) will not practice Wednesday and are questionable.

  • LB Leroy Hill has a swollen knee that will prevent him from practicing Wednesday, but is expected to be OK. "It's nothing serious," coach Jim Mora said of Hill's knee injury. "He won't practice today, but he should be good to go Sunday."

    Roster update

    WR Mike Hass was placed on injured reserve after suffering a left shoulder injury Sunday, and he was replaced on the 53-man roster by offensive lineman Trevor Canfield. Canfield is a rookie from Cincinnati who was on the Arizona Cardinals practice squad at the beginning of the season.

    "We have a roster spot so our personnel people -- like they always do -- tried to identify the best option," Mora said, "the best player available that we can bring onto the roster. He was the guy."

  • Seattle signed receiver Patrick Carter to the practice squad, replacing CB Trae Williams who signed off Seattle's practice squad by Pittsburgh.
