Matt Hasselbeck feeling "a lot better" after today's practice

The Seahawks quarterback said missing yesterday's practice with a sore right shoulder was necessary over precautionary.

"Missing a Wednesday isn't the end of the world," Hasselbeck said. "I definitely would want to practice, but there are some positives."

Those include more snaps for backups Seneca Wallace and Mike Teel, Hasselbeck said.

"I'm a lot better today than I was yesterday," Hasselbeck said.

D.D. Lewis and Cory Redding were both limited in practice today.

Hasselbeck said he's had worse seasons of injury, namely 2001.
"It's just part of the game, part of the job. Unfortunately just because I play quarterback, I feel like we gotta talk about it all the time. I wish we could just stop talking about it, because everybody on our team is hurting right now and I gotta talk about mine. Really annoying."
