Darnell Dockett fined $7,500 for his elbow to the throat of Hasselbeck

Posted by Danny O'Neil

Fine amounts from Sunday's games have been confirmed. Arizona defensive tackle Darnell Dockett was fined $7,500 for the second-quarter play in which he shoved his elbow against quarterback Matt Hasselbeck's neck.

That was one of three fines levied against Arizona. Cornerback Bryant McFadden ($5,000 for facemask) and Beanie Wells ($5,000 for blow to Deon Grant's head) were also fined.

The Seahawks had two players fined. Safety Jordan Babineaux was fined $7,500 for his horse-collar tackle of Anquan Boldin and safety Deon Grant was fined $5,000 for his part in the Wells' play.

Absent from that list of fines? Coach Jim Mora, which means that he didn't cross any lines with what he said regarding the officiating of the game.

Beanie Wells is fined $5000 for a hit to the head of Grant, but Grant is fined the same amount for "his part in the Wells' play"? Huh?  Posted on November 20, 2009 at 1:46 PM by douche. Jump to comment
