Matt Hasselbeck's daughter OK after bye-week accident

Mallory Hasselbeck, Matt's 6-year-old daughter, was struck by a dirt bike last week and underwent surgery, according to a post on Matt's Twitter account Tuesday.

Mallory will miss the basketball season, Matt indicated, but she will be OK.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery to Mallory. She has an irrepressible energy. True story: She wore her football uniform to a Seahawks game last year just in case the Seahawks needed her given all the injuries that had occurred at wide receiver.
