Lofa Tatupu out for the year

Linebacker Lofa Tatupu suffered a season-ending injury, tearing his left pectoral muscle in the first half of Sunday's loss to Arizona. He will need surgery to repair the injury and will miss the rest of the season.
Tatupu watched the second half of the game from the sidelines. He is 26 and has missed only two games since entering the NFL in 2005.
