Seahawks lose Brandon Frye for the season, sign Damion McIntosh
Posted by Danny O'Neil
Seattle signed veteran tackle Damion McTinosh, a player the Seahawks brought in for a visit earlier in the season. He previously played for Kansas City, where Mike Solari coached the offensive line before coming to Seattle. McIntosh played for the Chiefs in 2007 and 2008. Solari was Kansas City's offensive coordinator in 2007.
McIntosh is 32. Here's the link to his profile on NFL.com.
He is brought in as Seattle was down to two tackles after Frye's injury Sunday. Kyle Williams, who was promoted from the Seahawks practice squad for the game, suffered a knee sprain. If he had been unable to continue, Seattle was considering the prospect of playing tight end John Owens at tackle.
