Matt Hasselbeck's quotes
Posted by Danny O'Neil
A news update will be posted on the site shortly, but thought I'd pass along the quick responses by Hasselbeck:
"I have definitely felt worse. What I have is a painful injury, but I have definitely woken up on a Monday feeling worse. I don't feel that bad, and that's very encouraging."
Q: What's your status for this week?
"I'm absolutely hoping to play. Absolutely. I don't know. That was a question that I asked our medical staff."
"I got the wind knocked out of me. I couldn't breathe. I knew immediately that I couldn't breathe."
Q: What happened on the play?
"I was trying to get Seneca in the game, I think there was a minute to go. I was trying to get off the field because I didn't want us to have to waste a timeout."
Q: Have you suffered a fractured rib before?
Hasselbeck indicated he had. "I feel a lot better today than I did back then. When was that?"
