C Chris Spencer suffers ankle injury; WR Deion Branch expected back Friday night

Center Chris Spencer suffered an ankle injury during the Friday morning practice. Coach Jim Mora said it does not appear to be serious and said the initial indication is that it was not a high ankle sprain.
DE Cory Redding sat out practice because of general soreness, and LB Will Herring was out with a groin strain.
WR Deion Branch missed his third practice with what Mora characterized as slight swelling in his knee. Mora said Branch is expected back at Friday evening's practice.
