Walter Jones "was able 2 get in football stance 2day"
Posted by Danny O'Neil
That's the twitter shorthand from the mountain of a man that has been a fixture at the left edge of Seattle's offensive line.
Tuesday was the final organized-team activity for the Seahawks this week, and Jones used his Twitter account to provide an update on his status.
"Hey guys just wnt 2 say "I luv football"was able 2 get in football stance 2day. So I'm on my way 2 getting back on the football field."

Jones is recovering from microfracture surgery, which he underwent in December. At the time of the surgery, coach Mike Holmgren said it was a non-weight-bearing part of the knee. President Tim Ruskell said last month that Jones is progressing well in his recovery and hitting all his markers and the expectation remains that he'll be ready when the regular-season begins.
