Player of the game

Brett Favre threw for 213 yards, tossed scoring passes to four wide receivers and completed 22 of his 25 attempts for the highest completion percentage (88.0) of any game in his career.

Play of the game

Seattle's longest play of the first half was a 36-yard kickoff return by Ben Obomanu. Safety Eric Frampton was credited with forcing the fumble, which was recovered by Heath Farwell at the Seattle 34. That set up the Vikings for their third touchdown of the second quarter, which gave them a 21-point halftime lead.

Injuries

Cornerback Josh Wilson did not play because of a concussion suffered last week against Arizona. Coach Jim Mora said he didn't know of any injuries from Sunday's game that would affect availability for next week.

He said what?

Seattle's Mora: "This is the most complete team we have faced by far. We have tried everything, even went to the blue pants. We are going to keep searching. We are not going to throw up our hands and give up."

Relief pitching

Quarterback Matt Hasselbeck was sacked only once, but he took quite a whipping in the Seahawks' pocket. Backup Seneca Wallace replaced Hasselbeck for Seattle's final series, and Mora said Hasselbeck was icing his left arm after the game. Hasselbeck said he wasn't injured during the game. "Just normal stuff," he said.

Senecat tamed

The Seahawks ran two plays with both Wallace and Hasselbeck on the field in the first half, resulting in one incomplete pass and a 9-yard loss when Wallace had no openings on a third-and-two running play in the second quarter.
