Seahawks two-minute drill
Player of the game Kurt Warner passed for 340 yards, the second most the Seahawks have allowed in a game this season.
Player of the game
Kurt Warner passed for 340 yards, the second most the Seahawks have allowed in a game this season. Warner passed for two touchdowns, was not intercepted and was not sacked.
Play of the game
Arizona had the ball, second-and-three on its 37, trailing 20-17. Warner completed a pass to Anquan Boldin, who gained 37 yards before being tackled out of bounds by safety Jordan Babineaux. Babineaux was penalized 15 yards for a horse-collar tackle, giving the Cardinals the ball on the Seattle 13. Beanie Wells scored the next play on a 13-yard run and Arizona never trailed again.
Injuries
Julius Jones suffered a broken rib in the first quarter, and spent the night in a Phoenix hospital. According to ESPN, Jones had blood in his lung. Cornerback Josh Wilson suffered a head injury in the first half but came back to play. Defensive tackle Craig Terrill suffered a shoulder injury but also returned.
He said what?
Arizona coach Ken Whisenhunt: "I think our defense is upset because they gave up too many plays today and too much yardage and that's not something they've been doing. That quarterback is a very good quarterback."
D as in Dirty
Arizona defensive tackle Darnell Dockett used Matt Hasselbeck's throat for an elbow rest after a second-quarter sack. Actually, that's not right because Dockett didn't rest his elbow there — TV cameras caught him pushing down on Hasselbeck's throat after he was sacked. Hasselbeck grabbed his throat afterward, but no penalty was called. Dockett was subsequently penalized 15 yards for a facemask in which it appeared he tried to unscrew Justin Forsett's noggin.
By the numbers
472 yards of total offense by Seattle, its most in any game this season.
![]()
136 yards of penalties called against Arizona.
73 yards receiving by Larry Fitzgerald, who had a triple-digit total each of his past three games against Seattle.
65 yards of penalties drawn by Fitzgerald, who triggered two Seahawks pass-interference penalties in the first half.
1 tackle by defensive end Patrick Kerney, which is the same number as Hasselbeck and tight end John Carlson had.
