Seahawks two-minute drill
Player of the game, play of the game, injuries, notes
Player of the game
Tony Romo completed 21 of 36 passes for three touchdowns and was not intercepted. His passer rating for the game was 108.1. He is the fourth starting quarterback to finish with a triple-digit passer rating against Seattle this season.
Play of the game
Dallas ball, third-and-9 on the Seattle 43 with 1:16 left in the second quarter. Cowboys receiver Miles Austin ran what appeared to be a double move and ran squarely into Seahawks cornerback Marcus Trufant. The official ruled Trufant impeded Austin's on the route, preventing him from having a chance to catch the ball. The pass-interference penalty cost Seattle 20 yards and gave Dallas a first down. The Cowboys scored five plays later to take a 21-10 lead into halftime.
Injuries
Cornerback Ken Lucas was run over by Cowboys running back Felix Jones in the final 5 minutes of the third quarter. He left the game with what was described as a shoulder stinger.
Edge-ing into history
Edgerrin James rushed for 17 yards on six carries and moved into the top 10 in career rushing yardage in the NFL. James now has 12,246 yards rushing in his career, moving past Marcus Allen who gained 12,243. James is now 33 yards behind Marshall Faulk for No. 9 in league history.
Re-run
Seattle called a running play to begin six of its first seven possessions in Sunday's game. Those six first-down running plays gained a total of 5 yards and none went for more than 2 yards.
The heater
Linebacker David Hawthorne had 17 tackles in his first NFL start, which was Week 3 against Chicago. He had two sacks Sunday in Dallas when he started in place of Lofa Tatupu, who will miss the rest of the season because of a torn pectoral muscle. Hawthorne also forced a fumble on his fourth-quarter sack of Romo, Dallas' only turnover of the game.
