Edgerrin James, T.J. Duckett not at Seahawks practice Tuesday
Former All-Pro running back's agent was at Seahawks' headquarters, but would not comment on a potential deal

Former Cardinal Edgerrin James could be at Hawks practice as early as this morning if he signs a contract.
RENTON — Running back Edgerrin James did not practice on Tuesday morning. Neither did running back T.J. Duckett, but there has been no change to Seattle's roster as of 2 p.m. Tuesday.
Drew Rosenhaus, James' agent, was in the lobby at the Seahawks' headquarters when practice began on Tuesday. He had no comment when asked if a deal was completed. Seattle has not announced a transaction and James is not on the 53-man roster.
ProFootballTalk.com first reported Monday that the team reached an agreement with the running back on a one-year contract and was later confirmed by two other media reports.
James, 31, ranks 11th in career rushing in the NFL, but he is coming off the least productive season of his career. He started seven games for Arizona last season, gaining 514 yards as rookie Tim Hightower took more of the workload.
James went to Arizona in 2006 as a free agent. That was the same year Seattle re-signed Shaun Alexander after his MVP season.
Where James would fit into Seattle's backfield is a key question. Julius Jones is the starter, but missed Saturday's exhibition game because of an unspecified injury. T.J. Duckett started in Jones' absence. Duckett carried seven times, but never gained more than 5 yards. Jones is expected back at practice Tuesday.
Seneca Wallace led Seattle with 20 yards rushing on two carries on Saturday against Denver.
