Jim Mora conducted his first meeting of the Seahawks staff Monday.

What that coaching staff will ultimately look like next season, however, remains a work in progress.

Rod Marinelli, former Lions head coach, was in town to talk to the Seahawks on Monday, and Bucs assistant coach Casey Bradley won't be far behind.

The Tampa Tribune reported Monday the Seahawks are interested in Bradley as defensive coordinator. Bradley coached the Bucs linebackers the past two seasons, and his coaching contract with Tampa Bay is expiring.

Bradley came to Tampa Bay in 2006 as a defensive quality-control coach more than two years after Tim Ruskell, the current Seahawks president, left the Bucs.

Marinelli, however, was part of the Bucs staff when Ruskell was in Tampa Bay. Marinelli was regarded as one of the league's best defensive-line coaches, so good the Lions hired him as their head coach in 2006. He was fired after the Lions went winless in his third season. The Bears interviewed Marinelli last week.

The roles that Bradley and Marinelli would be considered for are not clear as the contours of next year's coaching staff are just beginning to take shape. Jim Lind, Seattle's tight ends coach and longtime Mike Holmgren assistant, is reportedly planning to retire.
