Today's games Time Pick
Atlanta at Arizona 1:30 p.m. (Ch. 5) Cardinals, 31-30
Cards only fifth team in NFL history with three 1,000-yard receivers.
Indianapolis at San Diego 5 p.m. (Ch. 5) Chargers, 42-40
Colts don't run so well; nor do they stop the run. That's a bad combination.
Baltimore at Miami 10 a.m. (Ch. 7) Ravens, 20-15
Ravens led league in takeaways; Dolphins tied for fewest turnovers.
Philadelphia at Minnesota 1:30 p.m. (Ch. 13) Eagles, 21-20
Eagles going to force Tarvaris Jackson to beat them. He won't.

Last week's record: 11-5. Regular-season record: 142.5-102.5 (.582).

Game of the Weekend

Baltimore at Miami, 10 a.m. Sunday, Ch. 7

The Ravens won at Miami back on Oct. 19, and all the Dolphins have done since is win nine of 10 games to match the largest season turnaround in league history. Miami won 10 more games than it did last season, becoming just the second team to increase its win total by 10 games from the year before. (The 1999 Colts went 13-3 after being 3-13 the previous season.) The Ravens defense has always been formidable; it's the offense that turned out to be surprisingly adequate this season under first-year coach John Harbaugh and rookie quarterback Joe Flacco. The Ravens' scoring rose by 6.9 points per game over last season, the fifth-largest increase in the league this year.
