Players of the Game
Seahawks WR Deion Branch: Branch caught four passes for 88 yards and scored two touchdowns, his second multi-touchdown game since coming to Seattle.
Patriots WR Wes Welker: Welker caught 12 passes for 134 yards. Eight of Welker's receptions resulted in first downs.
Seahawks QB Seneca Wallace: Wallace passed for 212 yards and three touchdowns.

Play of the Game
The Seahawks allowed only one sack on Sunday, but it couldn't have come at a worse time for Seattle. In the fourth quarter, the Seahawks had the ball at the New England 44, the Patriots brought safety Brandon Meriweather on a blitz. He came untouched, sacking Wallace and knocking the ball loose. Wallace said if the Seahawks had picked up the pressure, they would have had a big play down the field because Branch had beaten cornerback Deltha O'Neal to the inside.
Turning Point
New England had the ball at the Seattle 44, the Patriots facing third-and-10 with 5:31 left in the game. Cassel completed a 13-yard pass to Welker for the Patriots' third third-down conversion of the drive. New England converted a fourth-and-one play at the goal line to score the go-ahead touchdown with 2:50 left in the game.
Sunday's Seahawks Surprises
• The Seahawks lost a sixth consecutive game, the franchise's longest losing streak since 1994.
• Seattle scored 21 points, its most in more than a month. The last time the Seahawks scored more was Oct. 26 at San Francisco. The Seahawks have scored fewer than 20 points in eight of their 13 games this season.
