Seahawks Camp | Charlie Frye makes the right call at practice

Into the Frye-ing pan: Seattle's quarterbacks passed well on Wednesday morning, but it was an audible by Charlie Frye that was as impressive as anything. The first-unit defense was showing an all-out blitz, and Frye checked into a draw play that resulted in Maurice Morris running untouched up the middle. " 'Mo' would've run until he hit his head on the goal post on that play," Frye said afterward. Lofa Tatupu came untouched on a blitz the very next play and would have had a sack if contact was allowed against quarterbacks.
Padding stats: Tight end Jeb Putzier had the best block of the day, putting defensive end Jason Babin on the ground during a spirited seven-on-seven drill of running plays.
Kerney back briefly: Patrick Kerney returned to practice Wednesday morning for at least a little bit before going to the locker room to get retaped. He didn't return. This is the second time Kerney practiced after he was injured in the first few days of training camp.
Rocky returns: Defensive tackle Rocky Bernard was back practicing Wednesday after suffering what appeared to be an injury to his right foot on Tuesday morning. He missed the afternoon practice.
Fast company: Josh Wilson was on the sideline when secondary coach Jim Mora waved him onto the field to play left cornerback. No sooner was Wilson in than Jordan Kent ran right by him, catching a perfectly thrown ball from Seneca Wallace. Wilson appeared to injure his leg on the play.
