Defensive end Patrick Kerney is one of four Seahawks scheduled for surgeries this offseason, and running back Shaun Alexander is one of six others to already have had operations.
Alexander, who dealt with a cracked left wrist that required a cast or splint all season, has undergone surgery on the wrist, the Seahawks announced Thursday.
Kerney and left tackle Walter Jones will have shoulder surgeries next week.
Kerney will miss the Pro Bowl in Honolulu next month, replaced by Trent Cole of the Philadelphia Eagles, according to reports out of Philadelphia. Jones doesn't appear likely to play in the NFL's all-star game because of the time it takes to rehabilitate from a procedure.
Wide receiver Deion Branch will have knee surgery to repair a torn ACL at a date to be determined, and center Chris Spencer is to have shoulder surgery and reconstructive thumb surgery today.
Spencer struggled with shotgun snaps late in the season because of the thumb injury and had shoulder surgery last offseason, as did Jones.
Seahawks team doctors also performed surgeries this week on defensive end Baraka Atkins (left wrist), who was on injured reserve to end the season; linebacker Will Herring (arthroscopic right knee procedure); special-teams contributor Josh Scobey, who broke his lower left leg at Green Bay last week; and offensive lineman Floyd Womack (right biceps surgery).
Another backup lineman, Ray Willis, went to Birmingham, Ala., where he had arthroscopic left knee surgery. Branch will have his operation there as well.
All completed surgeries were deemed successful, according to the Seahawks.
