Next up for Hawks: Green Bay Packers

Seahawks at Green Bay Packers, Lambeau Field

1:30 p.m. Saturday (Ch. 13)

Head coach: Mike McCarthy, third season.

Record: 13-3.

Last game: Defeated Detroit 34-13 in Green Bay. The Packers rested several starters, having already clinched the NFC's No. 2 playoff seed.

Last meeting vs. Seattle: On Nov. 27, 2006, the Seahawks handed the Packers a 34-24 loss in the snow at Qwest Field. Seahawks RB Shaun Alexander ran for 201 yards on 40 carries, and QB Matt Hasselbeck returned from injury to pass for 157 yards and three touchdowns, along with three interceptions. Packers QB Brett Favre was 22 of 36 for 266 yards and a touchdown, but also threw three interceptions.

Green Bay on offense: Favre, the ageless wonder and heart and soul of the Packers, is headed to the Pro Bowl after throwing 28 TD passes against 15 interceptions. Green Bay has one of the worst rushing offenses among playoff teams, but Ryan Grant averaged 5.1 yards per carry this season. The top receivers are Donald Driver and Greg Jennings; Driver is headed to the Pro Bowl after an 82-catch, 1,048-yard season.

Green Bay on defense: The Packers have two defenders headed to the Pro Bowl in DE Aaron Kampman (12 sacks) and CB Al Harris. But there are several other defenders worth watching. LBs Nick Barnett and A.J. Hawk, DE Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila and CB Charles Woodson are some of the best in the NFL at their positions.
