Players of the Game

Falcons QB Chris Redman: Completed eight of 10 passes in the second half for three touchdowns and finished with 251 yards passing.

Seahawks K Josh Brown: Kicked two field goals of more than 50 yards, including a season-long 54-yarder.

Falcons TE Alge Crumpler: Caught three passes, two for touchdowns.

Seahawks RB Maurice Morris: Rushed for a season-high 91 yards.

Play of the Game

Atlanta TE Alge Crumpler's TD that tied the score at the start of the fourth quarter will be recorded as a 55-yard catch. Truth is, he covered more than half that running the ball, catching a pass and then remaining upright despite a big hit from Seattle's Lofa Tatupu.

Turning Point

Seattle ran two plays in the first 1:30 of the fourth quarter, both turnovers by Seneca Wallace and Atlanta turned them into touchdowns to take a 14-point lead.

Sunday's Seahawks Surprises

• The Falcons scored a season-high 44 points after coming in averaging 14.1 points, second lowest in the NFL.

• The Falcons passed for a season-high four touchdowns against Seattle, which entered having allowed a league-low 11 scoring passes.

By the Numbers

54 Yard field goal by Josh Brown, his longest this season.

44 Points the Seahawks allowed, the most they've allowed since giving up 44 to Baltimore in overtime in November 2003.

30 Yard penalty against Matt Hasselbeck for intentional grounding, setting up a third-and-40 when he was sacked by John Abraham and fumbled.

24 Fourth-quarter points by Atlanta. Of the 63 points scored against the Seahawks the past three games, 43 were scored in the fourth quarter.

9 Fourth-down stops by Seattle's defense this year after stopping Jason Snelling on fourth-and-one.

8 Players in NFL history who have rushed for 100 touchdowns, a list that includes Shaun Alexander after his first-quarter TD.

2 Tackles by kicker Josh Brown, same as the total for Lofa Tatupu and one more than Patrick Kerney.

Injury Report

Seattle: CB Marcus Trufant left the game briefly after getting the wind knocked out of him, but returned. QB Matt Hasselbeck injured his right wrist early in the second quarter, but returned.

Atlanta: DE John Abraham suffered a blow to the head, but returned. He did not play in the second half because of a back injury.

Quotable

"We didn't help the offense out. They didn't help us out. Special teams didn't help us out, either, and we didn't help the special teams. You just look across the board."

— Seattle LB Lofa Tatupu
