Seahawks two-minute drill
Players of the Game
Seahawks DE Darryl Tapp: Matched Seattle's record with four sacks in one game.
Seahawks LB Julian Peterson: Had one sack and one of Seattle's three interceptions.
Seahawks TE Will Heller: Caught two touchdown passes. His previous season best was one.
Seahawks WR Nate Burleson: Returned the second-half kickoff for a touchdown.
Play of the Game
Nate Burleson's 91-yard return of the kickoff to begin the third quarter, scoring Seattle's first touchdown on a kickoff in five years. Last season, Burleson returned a punt 90 yards for a TD in the Seahawks' victory over the Rams at Qwest Field.
Turning Point
The Seahawks led 10-3 in the second quarter and St. Louis had the ball on its own 32. Marcus Trufant played a pass intended for Isaac Bruce perfectly, staying stride for stride with the Rams receiver and turning to make the interception. That sapped whatever momentum St. Louis gained on its previous drive for a field goal.
Sunday's Seahawks Surprises
• Shaun Alexander was not on the field on fourth-and-one in the first quarter. Maurice Morris ran wide to the right and was stopped short.
• Seattle drove 71 yards for a touchdown on its first possession of the game. The Seahawks scored only one first-quarter touchdown in the first six games this season.

5 Punts by St. Louis in the first half compared to just four first downs.
4.5 Sacks by Darryl Tapp in his first 22 games as a Seahawk. He had four sacks in the first three quarters Sunday.
3 Interceptions by Marcus Trufant this season. Trufant intercepted two passes the previous two seasons combined.
2 Completions in the first half for St. Louis. Marc Bulger's passer rating at halftime was 5.
Injury Report
St. Louis: C Brett Romberg injured his ankle.
Seattle: QB Matt Hasselbeck suffered a strained oblique muscle, but should be OK. DE Darryl Tapp suffered a broken bone in his hand but returned. FB Leonard Weaver suffered an injury to his right knee in the third quarter, but also returned.
