Seahawks Camp | Day 9 highlights

Top offensive play: Nate Burleson made a one-handed catch on a pass from David Greene during the morning practice. Not only that, it was...

Four downs with ...

Baraka Atkins, defensive end

Height: 6-4. Weight: 268.

Experience: First year.

College: Miami

Hometown: Sarasota, Fla.

Age: 22.

Four things you want to have at camp: "The playbook, iPod, my Bible and a comfortable bed."

Four artists in your iPod: "[I'm a] big Jay-Z fan so I gotta have the Jay-Z. Also, a guy by the name of Lil Boosie. I like Musiq Soulchild's new album, and R. Kelly. I'll go two R&B, two rap music."

Have you had a welcome-to-training- camp moment: "Just every day, when you think you know what you're doing, you really don't. This is a learning experience for all the rookies and new guys coming in. And then being the younger guy and having to carry helmets and shoulder pads off the field and going to get Gatorades, something like that."

What's your nickname? They really haven't given me one quite yet. I don't want to give myself one, but if anything right now, it would just be "B", "B-Rock," something of that nature. Once you get here [to the NFL] you gotta get a new nickname. It has to come from the old guys."

José Miguel Romero

Top offensive play: Nate Burleson made a one-handed catch on a pass from David Greene during the morning practice. Not only that, it was his left hand, as he snagged a catch on a play Josh Wilson defended well.

Top defensive play: Marcus Trufant punched the ball away from Deion Branch after a completion. Linebacker Lofa Tatupu recovered the ball.

Third-and-one: Seattle's strength in 2005 became its bugaboo last season as the team's success in short-yardage situations fizzled. On a third-and-one play during the morning practice, Marcus Trufant jumped in front of Deion Branch to knock the ball away.

All-around game: Josh Brown won a state high-jump title in high school, ran routes with receivers in college at Nebraska and he showed off his arm during a punt-coverage drill. Brown threw the ball, in lieu of a kick, and logged between 40 and 50 yards of distance.

School of not-so-hard knocks: Matt Hasselbeck joked that Patrick Kerney is breaking stereotypes considering he's from the Taft School in Connecticut. That's a boarding school known more for athletic success in lacrosse and hockey and not so much for football prowess.

"If I had known that when he was in Atlanta I probably would've been intimidated a little less by him," Hasselbeck said.
