Seattle board-game company Cranium said today it has discovered an error with the toll-free phone number listed in some of its products.
The erroneous phone number, which is printed on the instruction sheet inside some Cranium games, directs callers to a second number — an adult phone line.
The correct number is 877-272-6486.
Cranium, which was bought last year by Pawtucket, R.I.-based Hasbro, said it has begun notifying consumers who might own a game with the misprint. It advises consumers who purchased Cranium games after October 2008 to call the company toll-free at 888-836-7025 for a new instruction sheet.
