My quest for Five Fishing Trips in 10 days temporarily postponed
Posted by Mark Yuasa
Sometimes the best laid plans get put on hold, and so has my quest for trying out my Five Fishing Trips in 10 Days around Western Washington.
I was supposed to going for salmon today off Westport on the coast, but a strong south wind combined with an incoming front from the northwest meant the seas would UGLY.
It is just a temporary hold as I have another trip to Westport planned on Wednesday (July 9), and then the quest will begin in earnest.
Other trips planned include a Lake Washington trout and cutthroat fishing trip on July 10, a trip to the Skykomish River for steelhead on July 13 or 14, a Puget Sound crabbing trip on July 15, and then rounding it out with a trip to northern Puget Sound for kings and crabs on July 16 and 17.
If you missed the story, you can check it out on The Seattle Times Web site.
