The 59th annual Honor Awards hosted by The American Institute of Architects (AIA) Seattle chapter, honors local architects.
The 59th annual Honor Awards hosted by The American Institute of Architects (AIA) Seattle chapter, honoring local architects for their real-estate projects, will be Nov. 9 at Benaroya Hall, 200 University St., Seattle.
With the theme "Improv\Improve," this year's Honor Awards will focus on the ability of architects to adapt to change, improvising and reacting quickly to new constraints.
AIA Seattle received more than 175 submissions which will be reviewed by a distinguished jury.
The event begins at 6 p.m. with a reception and viewing of entries. The winning projects will be announced at 7 p.m.
For more information, to see all the projects submitted and to purchase advance tickets (tickets will also be available at the door), go to www.aiaseattle.org.
