Snapshot of 2011 housing market
After more than two years of on-again, off-again federal tax credits, the housing market in 2011 had two things going for it — historic low mortgage rates and lots of inventory — which enticed some buyers back into the market. As for prices, well, let's just say they are higher than they were a decade ago.
King County home prices drop again; median at $315,000
House prices in King County hit another new post-boom low in January, according to statistics released Monday by the Northwest Multiple Listing Service.
