Gingrich plans campaign swing through Washington state
Republican presidential contender Newt Gingrich plans a campaign swing through Washington state Thursday and Friday.
Gingrich, the former U.S. House Speaker, and his wife Callista, will hold rallies Thursday in Kennewick and Spokane, his campaign announced.
On Friday they will visit the state Capitol in Olympia to speak with Republican legislators and hold a news conference. That will be followed by rallies in south King County and Everett.
The Everett rally will be held at 7 p.m. at the Historic Everett Theatre, 2911 Colby Ave.
Details of the south King County event will be announced later, the campaign said in a news release.
