Dino Rossi raised $4.4 million in three months

WASHINGTON -- Republican Dino Rossi's U.S. Senate campaign says it raised $4.4 million during the third quarter.
His opponent, Democratic Sen. Patty Murray, hasn't released her fundraising numbers for the July through September time period.
Rossi has collected $5.8 million in just over four months. His campaign said 84 percent of the donors are from Washington state. Rossi gave no other details Thursday, including total spending and cash on hand.
The Center for Responsive Politics said that as of July 28, Murray had raised nearly $12 million and had $3.1 million in cash on July 28.
