Election night parties

Posted by Jonathan Martin

We're going to try to keep this blog humming tonight with feeds, tweets, etc. from reporters, photographers and videographers out tonight. For journalists, covering election parties can be like crashing a rowdy Christmas party (for the winners), or it can be as fun as a car wreck (at losing campaigns, if they blame media coverage for the loss). That should keep the night lively, even if voters seem underwhelmed so far.

Here's a rundown of the parties:

Joe Mallahan, Dow Constantine and the No on 1033 campaigns are going to be at the Edgewater Hotel.

Mike McGinn is at the War Room on Capitol Hill.

Susan Hutchison and the Yes on 1033 campaign are at the Bellevue Hyatt Regency.

Approve Ref. 71 is at Pravda, 1406 10th Ave., on Capitol Hill.

Reject Ref. 71 is at the Everett Holiday Inn.

McGinn is at the War Room? What is this, Dr. Strangelove? ("Gentlemen, you can't fight in here -- this is the War Room!") I wonder...  Posted on November 3, 2009 at 7:45 PM by barleywine. Jump to comment
