Latest poll shows Mallahan ahead
Posted by Jim Brunner
Think this could explain Mike McGinn's tunnel gambit?
A new KING-TV/Survey USA poll shows Seattle mayoral candidate Joe Mallahan seemingly pulling ahead of McGinn.
The poll of 581 likely and actual Seattle voters found 43 percent support for Mallahan and 36 percent for McGinn. Of course, that leaves 21 percent undecided so the race is far from over.
KING notes the poll was conducted between Saturday and Monday, so it does not show how voters will react to McGinn's softening of his tunnel position.
A previous KING poll had McGinn and Mallahan tied.
