Former Seattle councilmember Peter Steinbrueck speaks out for Drago

Posted by Emily Heffter

Former Seattle City Councilmember Peter Steinbrueck says he won't endorse anyone in the mayor's race until after the primary, but the Jan Drago campaign has released a video of Steinbrueck coming pretty close.

Steinbrueck was urged to run for mayor and is popular with neighborhood advocates, so his support could boost Drago's campaign.

The Steinbrueck video (one of three Drago is releasing today) follows Mayor Greg Nickels' similar videos from last week.

Nickels' include a small-business owner, a mass-transit advocate, an environmental leader, and others talking about his work during eight years as mayor.
