Vice President Joseph Biden will appear in Seattle on Friday to raise money for Sen. Patty Murray, Washington's senior senator who is running for her fourth term in 2010.

Biden will attend a lunch for donors at the Westin Hotel. Supporters are asked to buy tickets for $150, $250 or $1,000. Murray faces no serious Republican opponents yet; no Democratic opponent has entered the race.

Murray is a member of the Senate leadership. She had $4.6 million in cash on hand in campaign contributions at the end of September.
