Deadline to mail or turn in ballots nears

Ballots must be postmarked by Tuesday in King County's first all-mail general election. Postage is required for mailed ballots. But for voters who prefer to return ballots by hand, secure drop boxes are available 24 hours a day through 8 p.m. Tuesday. No postage is required to drop ballots off.

Voters with disabilities

King County voters with disabilities can cast a ballot privately at special voting centers equipped with audio and visual technology that allow people with physical disabilities and limited vision to vote independently.

• Tukwila, King County Elections, 9010 East Marginal Way S: today, Friday and Monday, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; Tuesday, 7 a.m.-8 p.m.

• Bellevue City Hall, 450 110th Avenue N.E.: Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; Monday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; Tuesday, 7 a.m.-8 p.m.
