Voting in Tuesday's primary

Voting deadline

The primary is mail-only in King County. Ballots must be postmarked by Tuesday or put in a drop box by 8 p.m. that day. Be sure to sign the ballot envelope.

Get a ballot

If you have not received your ballot or lost it, go to www.kingcounty.gov/elections or call elections headquarters at 206-296-8683. Also, the elections office at 919 Southwest Grady Way in Renton is open 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. today and 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Drop boxes

Ballots placed in drop boxes do not require postage. For the list of locations: www.kingcounty.gov/elections/voting/ballotdropboxes.

Voting centers

For disabled voters unable to vote by mail, accessible voting centers equipped with audio and visual technology are available at King County Elections in Renton, Bellevue City Hall, and Union Station in Seattle. Other voters can use the centers, too, but officials would rather people who can vote by mail do so. For hours, call 206-296-8683 or go to www.kingcounty.gov/elections/voting/accessible.

Snohomish County

Elections are mail-only. For more information, see www1.co.snohomish.wa.us/Departments/Auditor/Divisions/Election_Voting or call 425-388-3444.
