Seattle School Board and Seattle City Council election
Seattletimes.com offered viewers a new way to make their voice heard this election season by participating in our online video candidate forum.
We asked readers to send us their questions in video or audio, which we then posed to candidates running in the contested races for Seattle City Council and Seattle School Board. Reader questions and the candidates' answers appear together in our "Digital Democracy" feature.
All of the questions for Seattle School Board candidates were gathered from public high school students in the city. We chose five to ask the candidates.
Many of the questions for Seattle City Council were gathered by seattletimes.com staff on the streets of downtown Seattle. Some were also sent in. All were from Seattle residents. We chose six to ask the candidates.
