"Stopped at this spectacular geological/volcanic feature off Highway 28 in eastern Oregon, between Prineville and Pendleton. I used my digital camera, a Kyocera Lv4, and it was shot in the late afternoon. Not another soul was in sight, and it felt like some prehistoric animal or bird might appear at any moment."
