A school bus leans on a side rail of Interstate 35W, which collapsed just after 6 p.m. Wednesday in Minneapolis. The bus was carrying about five dozen children, ages 5 to 17, as it returned from a day camp. A passenger told the Star Tribune newspaper that the children escaped through the rear door because the front door was wedged against the concrete rail.
