Two hundred runners dash across the mudflats of Samish Bay during the 8th annual Samish Bay Bivalve Bash and Low Tide Mud Run at Taylor Shellfish Farms near Bow on Saturday. Runners were knee deep in mud in places, during the 250-yard run. Most ran with their shoes duct taped to their feet so they won't lose them in the mud.
