Emmett Oliver, 95, right, credited with the idea that became the "Paddle to Seattle" 20 years ago, with his daughter Marylin Bard beside him, acknowledge the tribal canoes arriving at Golden Gardens Sunday. Both are Quinault tribal members. About two dozen canoes came mainly from the north with a stopover here before leaving Monday morning for Suquamish with a week long celebration hosted by the tribe there.
