Great pumpkin weigh-off

Walt Perham, squeezing between two giant pumpkins (before they're weighed) measures them so there will be a data base of the biggest. The winner was strictly determined by weight and Perham and his son, Brad, set a state record with 1467-pounds. Top right, is the Canadian record holder Jake van Kooten of Vancouver, Island.
