Monsoon Festival in Renton

On Saturday, Rhythms of India Dance School hosted its seventh annual Teeyaan da Mela, a Monsoon Festival, at Kennydale Elementary School in Renton. Punjabi woman and children celebrated their culture by coming together to sing and dance to cultural songs. A Shaunkan Maylay dee competition, which awards the most festive participants, was also held for women in various age groups.
