Ft. Lawton ceremony

The Hon. Ronald J. James, the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Manpower and Reserve Affairs, addresses the crowd during a tribute ceremony Saturday at Fort Lawton honoring the servicemen who were part of an historic court martial in 1944. During his speech, James apologized to the African American veterans and their families for their unjust treatment.
